Richard Raleigh calls himself an "autodidactic crypto-antiquarian" (in other words, a scholar of ancient histories that do not conform to mainstream views). He is interested in Gnosticism and Asian mystical traditions, and he pursues dream interpretation as both hobby and practice. Mr. Raleigh currently resides in the darkest recesses of his mind.

Richard collaborated with David Barbour on Shadow's Bend, a fictional work about H.P. Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard schedule for release by Ace books October 2000.
